Cery |

Cery walked out the door, and, making sure no one else was around, clicked his fingers. The next moment he was on the roof of the healer's quarter, he went
to the roof of what he knew was Elorwin's room and sat, he would have his revenge, tonight, when everyone else had left. Closing his eyes Cery meditated,
waiting for the sun to set.

Kiyoshi |
|||
|
Kiyoshi continued to block the noise of Elorwin's screams and whimper. He knew what was coming, who was waiting for the right time to strike, he knew how
bad it would be, and worst of all, he knew he was powerless to stop it. After what seemed like hours, but really was mere moment, Elorwin finally dropped into
a slumber, and the healer turned to look towards Kiyoshi, who slammed his eyes shut just in time, it looked like he was asleep, resting, just like the doctor
ordered. He couldn't risk being drugged, not if there was trouble ahead, he would need to be alert... and then it dawned on him, it wouldn't matter, he
would be alert so he could whimper like a sick pup at the attacker and hope that he would spare Elorwin based on how pathetic her friend was. His shoulders
slumped but he kept up the pretence of sleep. He would whimper at any threats tonight, he would be alert, and if it killed him, or made his stay in the
healer's office longer, he would care, as long as Elorwin was safe.

Brother Isador |

Isador watched over the two for the next few hours, unconvinced they were both asleep, when it was dark outside he decided to check on his other patients and
turned to leave, as he did he undid the lid of a jar of powder containing an airborne mixture that would keep both of them drowsy, even if they were awake they
wouldn't be able to do anything now.

"Stop," came a voice from the corridor. "Stop that creature. It's on the loose!"
Wolf sped down the corridors of the healer's quarters, a long trail of healers chasing after him. Darting in and out of the various wards that were scattered among the area, Wolf was attracting the attention of the healers and patients alike. Leaping over the beds of patients and weaving his way through the army of healers, Wolf continued to run amock in the far regions of the healer's quarters. Meanwhile, while the healers were no where in sight, Tomaius made his way back into the quarters. Wolf had agreed to be his decoy as he went back to check on Elorwin and Kiyoshi. He had been looking through the window on and off for the past few hours that healer had been in there and had seen him release some sort of powder into the air surrounding their beds. Fortunately for him being in his soul form, nothing like that could influence him at all while outside his body. He approached the door to Elorwin and Kiyoshi's ward and opened it slightly. All seemed to be clear, and it was so quiet in this area, except for the occasional "Stop that creature" that could be heard from the other side of the complex. He walked in to find them both asleep. He approached Elorwin's bedside and saw that she was blissfully asleep. It seemed that her drugs were having an effect after all. He stroked her hair, still so soft and silky to touch. He looked down at her face and saw her smile, although she was still unconcious. She must be having a pleasant dream he thought. He liked to think that although she was unconcious, that smile was for him as she knew he was by her side once again. |

Kiyoshi |

|
Kiyoshi was feeling groggy. Either the healers were doing something, or his body was still too injured to be awake this longer. Being a slightly paranoid
person right now he suspected the healers, they were always up to something, weren't they. They loved to practise on people when they were in the
healer's office, they always had a new trick they were developing. He was sure they were planning to do something to him. He could swear he could hear a
commotion down the corridor, banging, crashing, people running all over the place. Something was happening, was it that guy, the one who had been stood in the
door earlier? It must be, he was randomly attacking rooms, making his way towards Elorwin. He heard the door open, and someone came into the room. He struggled
against the effects of whatever was making him sleepy, fought his way awake. It was dark, and against the slight light from the window was a silhouetted figure
stood over Elorwin's bed. Blinking to clear the blur from his one good eye, Kiyoshi started trying to speak. "Wwwww... wwhhhh..." Then he
recognised the shape of the figure, he managed to moan "TTTooommmaiius..." before a small coughing fit. "Yoou... shoullld... staay
hhhhere." He dropped back into a light slumber, still able to hear the noise down the corridor, but relaxed, recovering.

Tomaius Hadedonu |

|
Tomaius heard the groggy voice of Kiyoshi from across the ward. He sounded a lot worse than it looked. These healers were monsters, which is why he always
prefered to be healed by his squad back at the barracks. Unfortunately though, this time around his body was too highly injured even for his squad, so it was
laying in a bed in a ward a little ways from Elorwin's. He really needed to check on how his body was progressing, as the longer he remained in his soul
state, the harder it was to contain his powers.
He looked over Elorwin's bed, sleeping blissfully and with such an innocent expression on her face. He decided not to disturb her, and instead decided to leave. When passing Kiyoshi's bed, he gave him a smile, although Kiyoshi's state probably meant that he could not see him in the darkness of the room. He placed his hand on the door handle and made to exit. "I will return soon Kiyoshi," he said from the door frame. "First I must go and check on the status of my body, and then I must aid Wolf from being captured by the healers. Afterwards I shall return, to be by Elorwin's side as she wakes up. Sleep well Kiyoshi." Tomaius closed the door behind him, quietly as not to awaken any of the patients in the area, or to attract some unwanted attention to himself. Stealthily, he made his way down the corridor in order to complete the tasks he had to accomplish before the night was over. |

Elorwin |
|||
|
Elorwin fought against invisible bonds to return to consciousness it was so hard, her body was so weary and heavy. But there was a reason she wanted to open her eyes again, she could feel someone gently stroking her hair, she knew their presence even with her eyes shut. It was Tomaius, he had some how got back into the room. Elorwin continued her desperate internal struggle back to consciousness. Then just as she neared waking Elorwin heard Tomaius say. "I will return soon Kiyoshi," he said from the door frame. "First I must go and check on the status of my body, and then I must aid Wolf from being captured by the healers. Afterwards I shall return, to be by Elorwin's side as she wakes up. Sleep well Kiyoshi." With that he was gone, all Elorwin was left with was the small rush of air as the door shut behind him. Elorwin had finally managed to half open her dazed eyes. Why was she feeling so disconnected, it was like she couldn't think and she was very groggy. Breathing deeply she detected a strange smell in the air but thought nothing of it. Suddenly Elorwin was hit with a horrible thought, that man she had seen from before was still her probably. She had seen the look in his eyes, a look that told her she was going to suffer at his hands. Elorwin hated to admit it but she was completely defenseless, the drugs must have really taken effect she couldn't move any part of her body. Panicking Elorwin lay, there was nothing she could do except try and gain more control of her body and hope for a miracle. |

Cery |

|
Cery awoke to darkness, Judging by the coldness of the air and the quietness from below him he judged it was nearly midnight. Resting a hand on a circle that
had been drawn hours before, he opened a hole wide enough to look through. Cery smirked as he saw there wasn't a healer in sight. He jumped through the
hole, landing right in front of Elorwin's room, silently and carefully he twisted the handle and slid open the door. Stepping inside with all the noise of
a shadow, he pushed the door shut behind him. His first clue that something was wrong should have been that the door only made it halfway before stopping,
however he was focused on the peaceful little girl in front of him. He took out a series of drawings he had made while on the roof, each one for a different
purpose should something go wrong, and placed them on the wall, before turning back to Elorwin. He had planned this all day, the bitch's death, it would be
slow, painful, and she would know it's him throughout the entire thing. With the gleam of a mad man in his eyes, Cery raised his hand. His second clue that
something was wrong should have been how difficult he now found it to snap his fingers, however he was too absorbed in his plan to notice his muscles starting
to tire. Finally after a few attempts Cery managed to snap his fingers, there was a bright glow from the back of his hand as he drew most of the air from
Elorwin's lungs, leaving enough for her to remain conscious and alive, only to suffocate slowly over a period of many hours.
"Let the games begin." he whispered. |

Kiyoshi |
|||
|
Kiyoshi felt a breeze, and blinked his one eye awake, there was a hole in the ceiling of the room. Someone was stood at the end of Elorwin's bed, holding
his arm over her body. He tried to move, but he was being held in place by the ropes holding his broken limbs above the bed. He couldn't make out who it
was, but he couldn't stop thinking the person looked vaguely familiar, it was so dark in the room. No candles were lit, the moonlight didn't filter
into the rooms, a vague light allowed Kiyoshi to see where the beds were, and see the outline of this mystery man, and where Elorwin lay in bed, sleeping
peacefully. He tried to dig deep, tried to summon light for himself, from himself. The tiniest of sparks sputtered from the mark on his forehead, barely
illuminating anything at all. He concentrated, trying to dig deep as he could, summon something to see by. The light burst from his eyes lighting to room like
it was midday, he could see, that person who had been at the door earlier. "WWWHhho... aaree. yoouuuuu? What doooo, yooouu, wannt with....
Eloooorwiin-saaaan"

Elorwin |

|
Elorwin was ready and at least slightly alert for the noise of someone approaching. Opening her heavy eyes she found her fears confirmed. It was the man she had seen before. Elorwin knew what he wanted with her; she had seen the look in his eyes. He was out for revenge and he longed to see her suffer. Panicking Elorwin knew he would get his wish. She was completely helpless, the air borne drug rendering her body immobile. He moved closer till he stood over her prone body. From somewhere the room was filled with a soft glow and Elorwin looked into his face, all she saw was malice and Elorwin knew he was going to enjoy every second of killing her. After several attempts he managed to click his fingers together and his hand emitted a soft glow. As his hand continued to glow Elorwin found it was getting very difficult to breathe. Gasping she tried to get more air but even though she was panting, trying to pull air into her, his power was limiting the amount of air she received. Elorwin's first response was her body started to panic. Her heart beat wildly, its rhythm pounding through her body and her panting increased as she tried to fight the suffocation. Minutes slowly trickled by as he continued to torture her. Every minute or so he would make a small gesture with his hand and when he did the small amount of air Elorwin had would decrease. More time passed and Elorwin started to feel herself slipping further from life as the air was forced out of her. She had been reduced to half hearted attempts at breathing and her heart beat was slow and infrequent as she started to shut down. Elorwin looked at the man who was killing her through her lilac eyes that were starting to darken.

Elorwin was suffering, and there was nothing he could do. He could hear her panting for air, and he didn't know what the problem was, he didn't know
how to stop it, but he was certain that the man who stood at the end of her bed was the cause. Tears streaked down his cheeks as he was held in his own bed,
helpless, restrained by both the ropes attaching him to the ceiling and the limitation of his injuries. He had to do something, but what, he needed to buy some
time, he was certain that if he could get the man out of the room, away from Elorwin, maybe even cause enough disturbance, everything would be alright. He
focused, how could he do this, without leaving his bed. He felt it, the energies that were glowing from his eyes shifted, still faintly glowing, but now they
flowed through the rest of his body, re-energising him. He was weak, the injuries and the drugs were weighing on him heavily, but the energy was starting to
lift those weights. It wasn't repairing the damage, that was beyond his ability, but he could feel himself regaining strength and clarity. It would take a
few more moments, precious time he hoped that Elorwin could hold onto, but soon he would be able to act again. At heavy cost to himself, but that didn't
matter.

Cery may have been focused on Elorwin's torment, but he was still aware. Noticing the faint glow behind him he spun round to see Elorwin's companion
glowing. Looking a little closer Cery realised this was the man who had tripped him up last time. Cery raised his other hand and his smirk grew ever so
slightly larger. "Play with fire, and you're gonna get burnt!" he said, clicking his fingers, sending a flash of fire across Kiyoshi. Taking out
a piece of chalk he drew a small circle on the wall, placing a finger on it there was a glow once more, and Kiyoshi was held down by the very wall itself.

Was this really how she was going to allow it to end? To be killed by this man, slowly having the air forced out of her, waiting for her life to end. Would she let the last thing she ever saw on this earth be his horrible face sneering at her without mercy. Rage flared up inside her like she had never felt before, it filled her entire self until even her imminent demise did not bother her, all she wished was to lash out against this man who was making her feel so helpless and weak. Anger coursed through her veins filling her like a drug and every part of her body responded to it. Her heart throbbed with a wild power she did not know she had and with alarming speed several changes happened all at once. There was a gentle but distinguishable crack as the blue jewel earring Elorwin wore cracked but did not break. On her delicate hands her well cared for nails began to grow until they were twice their original length and as sharp and pointed as new knives. The most dramatic changes occurred. Her eyes once so beautiful in shining lilac even near death now showed nothing but white, her eyes were completely blank. Down both her cheeks two jagged blue markings appeared and her face was set in a terrible snarl showing that she now sported fang like teeth. Elorwin could no long feel any pain and her body seemed to have forgotten its need for air and very suddenly and with alarming speed she leapt up onto the bed and pounced at the man, taking him by surprise. Holding him down with her body Elorwin proceeded to slash and bite the man with her extremely powerful yokai body, her strength seemed to be doubled in this form. She did not think, there was no need to think, all she knew is she wanted to hurt him as much as he had wanted to hurt her. Elorwin felt blood on her claws and smelt the metallic scent in the air and it pushed her further, fuelling her blood lust. |

Kiyoshi |

|
Kiyoshi screamed as the tendrils of concrete that held him above his bed flexed as Elorwin pounced from her bed. It felt like his leg was going to be ripped
off, or crushed into a fine paste, and then it was released, a bloody mess. He dropped with a crash back onto the bed, his leg in far more pain then it had
been after the fight. He looked on at the fight, it seemed unfair to even call it that, Elorwin, or whatever she has turned into, was shredding the man, it
seemed entirely one sided. He only hoped that she still held enough of her own self, that once she was done with him, she would stop, she wouldn't come
after him, he wasn't certain he could stop her when he was fighting fit, but now he was just a meal served up on a platter for her.

Cery |
|||
|
Cery's eyes widened in shock, that was all he could do before he was on the floor, his chest sporting long gashes along it. It was taking all of his
discipline not to yell in pain. He wasn't physically strong enough to do anything, and he didn't have time to draw any transmutation circles.
"If I don't do something soon, I'm going to be minced meat." He thought to himself. Acting on instinct rather than rational thought, Cery clicked his fingers. The pattern on his glove glowed and a sphere of raging winds suddenly emenated from him, pushing this... thing, upwards and buying Cery a few moments. He clicked his other finger and blew a whole in the wall before finally redirecting the winds to throw this beast into the hall way. Taking advantage of the moment Cery ran for the wall, clicking his fingers once more and resting his hand on the broken wall as he passed through it, creating a new wall of wind to stop the creature from catching up to him, immediately anyway. |

Elorwin |

Before she knew what was happening Elorwin was thrown off her prey and flung into the corridor like a rag doll, squeaking along the shiny clean floor. Digging her claws into the floor she shook her sliver hair from her eyes and looked towards where the man had been. He had vanished through a hole in the wall that she had been sure hadn't been there before. Laying in a kind of half crouch she continued to stare at where he had been. He was nowhere in sight and she had managed to achieve her goal of getting him away from her and to her pleasure she had managed to hurt him as well. Panting heavily Elorwin started to shudder as her body began to change back. Although she had changed into this beast it had not fully taken over her mind, although a small voice inside her called out for blood, for anyone's blood but her body was starting to give out. Her nails began to shrink to their normal size and her eyes changed back to their normal sparkling lilac, although they were filled with tears. Collapsing completely to the floor, Elorwin looked down at herself and saw she was covered in blood. Half was her attackers' and the rest was hers, with a grim smile she noted that she had once again managed to reopen her wounds. Breathing heavily she found she was having increasing difficulty staying conscious, blackness creeping into the edges of her vision. She had already nearly been killed by the mans attack and after such a surge of activity on her already damaged body Elorwin found she was nearly at her limit. Laying her head down on the floor and closing her eyes Elorwin only let one thought float into her mind; Tomaius. |

Brother Isador |
|||
|
Isador had head the commotion from his office and was rushing towards his patients room when he saw Elorwin transforming back.
"A half yokai?!" came his exclamation "This explains why she was so difficult to treat." Cutting himself short he brought himself back to the real world and rushed towards Elorwin, it didn't take any special skills to see her body was on the verge of collapsing. He carefully picked her up and took her down the corridor to a solitary room, containing one bed and many shelves of medicines. Laying her down, he opened her medical garb to get closer access to the wounds. "Stay absolutely still," He said while searching the shelves for medicines. "Any further activity, no matter how small, will send your body into shock and quite possibly kill you." After grabbing ten or so bottles he hurried back to Elorwin, placing them on a table full of other equipment and got to work on cleaning the wounds and sealing them. "What on earth happened in there?" |
|||
Elorwin |
|||
|
Elorwin wasn't really sure what was happening, all she wanted to do was let the darkness over take her, ending all pain and thought however she was unable to do so as she felt strange hands on her, moving her. Looking up Elorwin recognised through dim eyes the healer from before. It seemed he had been alerted to the distress of his patients by the loud noises her attacker had made in his rush to escape her. She felt herself being laid down upon a bed and opening her eyes again she saw that she was in a different room from where she had been previously. Elorwin assumed this must be an intensive treatment room as she had never seen a place so full of medicine or medical equipment. Her head was spinning terribly with her eyes open and she felt so weak, it hurt to breathe, but with a tiny smile she thought "At least I am still breathing, that man didn't get his own way … I showed him. Although at quite a high cost" She added as an after though to herself her body shuddering with pain. "What on earth happened in there?" Elorwin heard the healer ask. Giving another weak smile Elorwin prised her eyes open and looked at him. It was too much of a long story to really go into details, plus she really didn't feel like she could manage that. Drawing in a few painful gasps Elorwin spoke and a shuddering broken voice. "I … was … attacked … tried to … to … kill me … nearly … did." That was all she could manage for the moment and was content to just lay and continue to struggle for breath. |

Brother Isador |
|||
|
Isador had just inished applying a nasty looking green paste to Elorwin's wounds.
"Ok this will sting a bit, but it will clear your wounds and help them heal." He said softly, what he'd said was somewhat of a lie, that paste was going to sting majorly. He grabbed some bandages and started work on the smaller wounds. "The guards are already looking for the intruder, one of the nurse's spotted him running, he can't have gotten far and i'm sure they'll catch him soon so you don't need to worry about that." |
|||
Elorwin |
|||
|
Hissing weakly Elorwin quickly found out that this healer was once again a liar who seemed to have no idea between slightly and completely when it came to the pain scale. Suddenly a thought struck her plunging her into shock, her breaths coming in short painful gasps. He lilac eyes were wide and she looked to the healer. Reaching out with a shaking hand she took the healers hand in her own and held it tightly. "Don't … follow that man… He's very … very dangerous." She paused looking the healer in the eyes and biting her lips, seemingly fighting with some intense emotion. After a few moment of pain filled breaths she seemed ready to continue. "Did … did you see me … I mean … in the hallway … did you see … anything?" Elorwin stared deeply into the healers' eyes, her bright lilac ones brimming once again with tears of pain and emotion. |
